Rules to avoid work-from-home scams

I was employed in the house building industry for several years before the credit crunch came in and made me redundant. I decided to take on a part-time university requalification course in computing technology and to develop my online marketing skills at the same time. Here is some of the experience I gained in the process of looking for a suitable online marketing program.

Due to the fallback in the labour market the chances of finding a job are getting slimmer each month. It forces the job seekers to look into the alternative job markets, one of which is especially generous in promises of dream earnings effortlessly and over-night. The adverts offer as much as they are not ashamed, often ceiling up to a few thousand bucks a day.

The truth however is that the vast majority of the work-from-home-and-get-rich jobs is full of hidden catches and require considerable initial investments to see some profits later on if at all. The initial membership fees are often followed by requests for additional fees and all you basically get in the end is a bunch of few downloadable e-books on internet marketing.

There are a few simple rules to stick to before you jump into any of the promised gold mines:
1. Read verified reviews on renowned webs and consumer forums
2. Always read the conditions of membership and watch out for additional or hidden fees
3. Check if the product offers a money back guarantee
4. Don’t believe in miracle products or stories – you will not get rich over night
5. What you are looking for is the skills and not the accidental quick profit
6. Don’t trust the junk mails promoting a program without a web page and/or contact details

The internet market is there already huge and growing massively with a potential for enthusiasts it is just a matter of time to find the right resources and avoiding scam programs.
